Finally a contract

Well we signed a builder contract. YEAH!!! Now the document junk has to be done, taking 30 days or so, and we can begin building. Permits are issued. Builder is ready. And we are SO ready.

We ended up choosing George Stewart, 70+, says he's been building for a hundred years, was a real cowboy, rodeo rider, bronc buster, now in addition to building he's also an artist. He specializes in "western art", which isn't my style but I'm guessing we'll have to have one of his paintings to go in the house just 'cuz. I really like this guy. He's someone I'd feel comfortable working with on a handshake & there aren't many of those left.

As soon as we actually break ground I'll start posting pictures. Oh - estimated time to build is 4 to 5 months, so we could still make it in for my birthday in March. I'd love to celebrate 60 in our new home!
