News: I just found a guy to make a dining room table and chairs for us! I know, I know, the house isn't even built yet, Ok, it isn't even started, but ye who know me know how I am. So, I'm furnishing, painting, even remodelling - all in my head. So, this guy calls himself The Ole Craftsman, makes great tables and chairs and whatever else from reclaimed wood. I saw a 10 foot long farm style table that he made on ebay, emailed him and learned he will happily do a custom table and chairs. Much less expensive than the one I'd found at Pottery Barn, one of a kind, just for us. Yeah!
